BMW Excellence Club is BMW’s invite-only lifestyle and owners’ programme, offering concierge services, exclusive events, travel experiences, and premium benefits for selected BMW owners.
BMW Group South Africa needed a dedicated digital platform where members could securely access these benefits, explore events, and manage their accounts — all while strictly adhering to BMW’s global CI and design standards.
02 The Challenge
Present a wide range of luxury benefits, offers, and events in a clear, digestible way
Create a premium, frictionless experience for an invite-only audience
Design both logged-out and logged-in experiences, including full account management
Follow BMW’s CI and UX guidelines with no deviation, ensuring full brand consistency
03 What I did
I was responsible for the UX and UI design across the entire platform, including:






Designing all page layouts for desktop and mobile


Creating a reusable UI component system based strictly on BMW’s CI

Designing user flows for: login and registration, account verification, password reset, logged-in member journeys
04 Design Approach
Clear structure over complexity
I focused on modular layouts and strong hierarchy to help members quickly understand:
- What benefits are available
- What events are coming up
- How to take action
CI-driven consistency
Every component, spacing rule, and interaction pattern was derived from BMW’s global design language, resulting in a platform that feels unmistakably “BMW” while remaining intuitive.
Frictionless membership flows
Authentication and account-related screens were designed to be predictable, clear, and reassuring, reducing friction in a high-value, invite-only experience.
